This summer, the YESAction community was filled with passion, creativity, and innovation as we launched our Sustainability Leadership Training Program (SLTP). As the program concluded and a new academic year approached, we reflected on its remarkable impact and celebrated the next generation of sustainability leaders.
Our Sustainability Leadership Training Program (SLTP) was meticulously designed to ensure a holistic learning experience for every participant.
The program integrates gold-standard mentor sharing, guest expert lectures, and interactive discussions to help participants build a solid foundation in sustainability, gain early exposure to core concepts in environmental science, and, upon completion, receive an official U.S. certification issued by YESAction, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Each day includes structured learning, discussion, and reflection activities. Materials such as short readings or videos may be provided before or after class. Participants are encouraged to engage at their own pace.

During two intensive sessions, we had the pleasure of welcoming over 100 high-school students from various parts of the U.S. These enthusiastic learners explored the concept of sustainability, gaining knowledge, skills, and perspectives that will shape their future leadership roles. Every student who participated successfully completed the program and earned their coveted SLTP Certificates. As they enter their school communities this year, we are excited about the positive changes they will bring about. The impact of SLTP extends beyond the summer; it is just the beginning!
As we move forward, our hope is that every student who walked with us on this summer journey will become a beacon of sustainable change in their respective communities. We're not just training leaders; we're building a movement. And with the unwavering spirit of our young enthusiasts, the future looks not only sustainable but also inspiring.
